AMFA Local 4 is calling for nominations from the membership for the positions of ATL Safety & Standard Coordinator. As determined by the Local 4 Safety and Standards Chairman, the ATL Safety & Standards Coordinator will serve the members located in the ATL. Members in this location will only be allowed to nominate and vote for the ATL Safety & Standard Coordinator. Duties of the Safety & Standards Coordinator are outlined in Article V Section 1 of the Local 4 Bylaws.
The term of this position will be for two (2) years and commence in March 2020. The term will end in February 2022 in order to run concurrent with the Local 4 Safety & Standards Chairman’s election cycle as outlined in Article IV and the Safety & Standards Coordinator cycle as outlined in Article V of the Local’s Bylaws.
Nominations must be submitted in writing or online to Local 4 no later than 5:00 PM CST on February 21, 2020 to be considered valid. An online and paper nomination forms are available on the AMFA 4 website (www.amfa4.com), under the “Elections/Nomination” tab. Paper nomination forms can be scanned and e-mailed to email@example.com.
All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning Willingness to Serve Form, which will be presented to each nominee following the close of the nomination period. Election and balloting information will be presented to all members at the close of this nomination period.
