AMFA Local 4 is accepting nominations for the following positions:
Assistant National Director
Safety and Standards Director
Region II Director
A description of the duties and responsibilities of these positions can be found in Article VI of the AMFA Constitution. All Active AMFA Members are eligible to be nominated for these positions. The names of the winners of this election will be nominated at the AMFA National Convention by your Local 4 Delegates and appear on the election ballot for National Officers
This nomination process and election will be conducted in accordance with AMFA’s general election procedures for officers. Candidates for this position must be active members in good standing and free of all assessments and fines to the National and Local.
Nominations for these positions must be submitted in writing or electronically (preferred) to Local 4 no later 5:00 PM CST on November 25, 2019. Nomination forms and instructions for submission can be found on the Local 4 website (www.amfa4.com) under the “Elections and Nominations” tab.
All nominees will be required to verify their candidacy by completing and returning a Willingness to Serve Form, which will be emailed to each nominee following the close of the nomination period. Information about the voting process, including the ballot package mailing date and the ballot count date, will be announced following the close of the nomination period.
